“Project Pitch It”, the show where local entrepreneurs and their ideas are put to the ultimate test. Each week, three aspiring — and often inspiring — local entrepreneurs get the chance to pitch their innovative new ideas to a panel of area business moguls. These successful self-made millionaires then pepper the entrepreneurs with questions, assess the potential of each idea and finally present awards with a total value of nearly $30,000 designed to help each entrepreneur move their business to the next step. The awards range from free tuition for mentoring and office space at Cardinal Stritch University, mentoring at the Lubar Center for Entrepreneurship or $10,000 cash.

Complete Shaping apparel was created by a breast cancer survivor who had a bilateral mastectomy and the removal of many lymph nodes. Like many breast cancer survivors, she searched unsuccessfully to find a non-irritating and painless way to wear prosthetic shaping. After living flat for 8 years and hearing the same complaints from other breast cancer survivors, she decided to develop a way to wear shaping that was non-restrictive (a precaution because of the heightened lymphedema risk), soft on the surgical scars, and could be worn comfortably all day long.
